Lichtfestival maaktraject

MAAKTRAJECT

Heb je zin om mee te bouwen of om mee de installatie te ontwikkelen?
In november en december komen we samen om het klank- en lichtspel rond de monolieten verder uit te werken.

PRAKTISCH

De installatie zal te zien zijn tijdens het Lichtfestival in Gent (31.01 - 04.02) en op andere evenementen van European Youth Capital.

Radiant Resonance is een samenwerking tussen Nerdlab, KOPERGIETERY en Jean-Jacques Collective i.s.m. European Youth Capital.

Nerdlab is een Gentse organisatie die experimenteert met kunst en technologie. Deze kunsteducatieve organisatie gelooft dat jonge mensen de wereld gaan redden en biedt hen daarvoor de nodige creatieve, technische en sociale skills.

KOPERGIETERY is een Gents creatiehuis voor jong publiek, met focus op theater, dans en muziek. Het is een plek waar kinderen en jongeren in contact komen met kunst en waar kunstenaars en kinderen samen creëren en elkaar wederzijds inspireren. KOPERGIETERY maakt voorstellingen, inviteert gastgezelschappen en organiseert theaterateliers.

Jean-Jacques Collective is een Gentse multidisciplinaire non-profit organisatie die zich richt op immersive scenografie, installaties en curatie.

In 2024, Ghent will be the European Youth Capital. Nerdlab and KOPERGIETERY shed light on the city of the future. Five young writers wrote a text about how young people look at the future yesterday, today and tomorrow. The cadence of the texts read out determines the play of light of five futuristic monoliths.

CREATION TRAJECTORY

Would you like to help build or develop the installation? We will meet in November and December to further develop the sound and light play around the monoliths.

Nerdlab is a Ghent-based organisation that experiments with art and technology. This art-educational organisation believes that young people are going to save the world and provides them with the necessary creative, technical and social skills to do so.

KOPERGIETERY is a Ghent-based creative house for young audiences, focusing on theatre, dance and music. It is a place where children and young people come into contact with art and where artists and children create together and mutually inspire each other. KOPERGIETERY creates performances, invites guest companies and organises theatre workshops.

Jean-Jacques Collective is a Ghent-based multidisciplinary non-profit organisation focusing on immersive scenography, installations and curation.
