Digital designer and visual artist Sam Dekocker, as part of the research project 'AI Literacy,' completed an artistic residency under the wings of LUCA School of Arts. Sam explored how AI could enrich his creative process as a designer. In the exhibition World Wide World, Sam Dekocker presents the outcome of his research.
Inspired by both the real world and the digital realm, Sam created his own world filled with colorful, dreamlike landscapes and natural phenomena. Small details, such as cracks in street pole stickers and torn posters on buses, sparked his imagination and became the foundation for his work. By experimenting with a unique mix of digital and analog techniques, he brought his vision to life. The exhibition showcases a fascinating world where digital animations and various print techniques merge.
