This series reinterprets 19th-century porcelain lithophanes using modern 3D printing techniques, providing a method to rematerialize digital drawings. The use of lithophanes draws from Media Archaeology, aiming to revive and contextualize this rarely employed medium within the domain of Contemporary Art. The work incorporates biodegradable PLA filament combined with molded natural pine resin, referencing amber, the ancient Greek term ēlektōr, from which the word electricity is derived. When backlit with integrated LED lights, these artworks emit a soft glow, evoking imagery of either a flickering fire or a digital display.
