In this workshop, we'll create an animation using waste materials found and brought in by participants. The philosophy centers on redefining what society considers waste, encouraging participants to see value and potential in overlooked items.
Please pick up a piece of waste material on your way to the workshop and bring it with you. It can be anything you find—like a plastic bottle, an old magazine, an old bus ticket, a broken toy, a fallen leaf or a cardboard.
Through this process, we’ll breathe life into these overlooked and neglected items, turning them into animations. The philosophy centers on redefining what society considers waste, encouraging participants to see value and potential in overlooked items.
To enhance the experience, we’ll introduce innovative ways of presenting the animations. For example, using Augmented Reality (AR), participants can 3D-scan the animated objects (with a free and user-friendly mobile application).
