Are you ready to take your knowledge about sustainable fashion to the next level? Or do you want to know how you can incorporate sustainability into your lessons / at school / within your leisure activities?
On Friday, November 22, we invite you to an interactive session in Ghent, where we will collaborate with People Planet Fashion, Swishing, Cosh, COSH! Digital Wardrobe, Race Against Waste and thanks to the support of Erasmus+, are working on a more sustainable fashion network. After the knowledge exchange, we will start working on small actions that we can take to introduce young people and children to sustainable fashion.

What already works well in sustainability education and what could be (even) better? Together we explore creative ways to bring sustainability into the classroom, discuss which teaching methods really have an impact and investigate the state of affairs. In this way, together we take the next step towards a more sustainable future!

What are the needs in the classroom? And which sustainable initiatives in fashion deserve more attention? You can help answer these questions! During our meeting we bring together teachers, experts and fashion companies to discuss the future of sustainability. In this way we lay the foundation for innovative ideas that go beyond the classroom or the catwalk.

Our findings form the basis for a practical guide that identifies opportunities for sustainable fashion and education. This guide forms the basis for future collaborations and initiatives within fashion and education. But the most important thing? It offers tools to give sustainability a permanent place in the classroom and the fashion industry. From insight to impact!

Pepijn van Race Against Waste
Race Against Waste involves young generations to get started with sustainability. Every year, children from more than 600 primary schools in the Netherlands, Germany and France learn about the circular economy and energy saving through educational action campaigns.
