Once again, various techniques and materials merge in a literally dynamic design. Central to the process is the rethinking of traditional textile techniques, such as embroidery and beading, and exploring how they can be fused with new techniques and technology to achieve innovative results.
Experimentation plays a crucial role in developing new hybrid forms where fashion, textiles, and technology overlap. Open-source models may serve as a foundation, which can then be reimagined into new projects.
Techniques used: molding with silicone, clay modeling, 3D printing, electronics, LED wire, embroidery, beading, costume design. It’s the next step in a series of wearable art projects, where fashion and technology converge in an interactive wearable form.
